Bio

My name is Paulina Braverman. I am a painter and muralist based in Pittsburgh, PA, specializing in realistic portraiture. I am dedicated to my craft and passionate about capturing the essence of every subject I paint. As a muralist, I enjoy physicality of working large scale and outside, in collaboration with the community. I also love facilitating art making practices for others.

I earned my BFA in Art & Design from the University of Michigan's Stamps School of Art & Design

in 2023.

My work has been featured in exhibitions such as:

Figment/Fragment, The 2023 Stamps School Senior Exhibition, Ann Arbor, MI, 2023

Realities Unveiled: A Visual Exploration, Duderstadt Gallery, Ann Arbor, MI, 2023

Stamps School of Art & Design Juried Exhibition, Ann Arbor, MI, 2021 & 2022

I also sell wooden vases in the store at  Contemporary Craft, in Pittsburgh, PA.

My first solo mural is located on James Simon's Sculpture Studio in Uptown, Pittsburgh, PA.

Much of my other street art exists on the "Free Wall" in Bloomfield, Pittsburgh, PA.

I have experience designing and facilitating art workshops for children, the elderly, and those facing incarceration. It is extremely rewarding to witness the therapeutic benefits a consistent art-making practice can have on people's mental and physical wellbeing.
